The global fashion industry is worth a whopping 1.5 trillion USD with the supply coming mainly from exporting countries like China, the EU, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Turkey. While India holds the second-largest position in textile production, employing roughly 45 million people,  it ranks a modest sixth in the world for apparel exports, contributing a mere 3% to the market. Why is that? 

The gap is due to the fact that nearly 99% of Indian apparel manufacturers in the textile industry are small and unorganized SMEs and struggle with the complexities of exporting. Whereas on the demand side, international small to mid-sized apparel retailers find it hard to keep up with fast fashion giants and there trendy products. 

Traditionally, sourcing a diverse range of unique and trendy products in smaller quantities has been the domain of smaller manufacturers and online portals in China. However, Bengaluru-based startup, Tradyl is set to disrupt this by bridging the gap between global SMB apparel retailers and Indian SME manufacturers. Now Indian SME manufacturers and D2C brands can export their products to the world without the need for additional infrastructure or investments, therefore, allowing them to offer low quantities of stylish, unique products. Tradyl takes an end-to-end approach to ensure reliable quality and on-time deliveries, meeting the critical requirements of international smaller retailers. 

Tradyl’s mission is to simplify the sourcing of 'Made in India' fashion & lifestyle products. We wanted to make a film that encapsulates the problems our customers face and our unique solution to solve it, in a fresh and captivating way. 

Problem identified: International SMB fashion retailers often face a myriad of challenges when sourcing products, such as costly & tiring sourcing trips, inventory management headaches, the relentless pressure to stay relevant in the fast fashion world and unprofessional suppliers. 

Tradyl's answer to this problem is:

  2. Low minimums: We enable ordering in smaller quantities, reducing the risk of high inventory and working capital.
